Please find summary of my education and my maritime experience from 1980 till 2020.
- My total navigation experience is 19 years, 12 months and 28 days of navigation.
My education summary:
1 . I have graduated Maritime High School of Montenegro , Kotor from 10.09.1975 to 15.06.1979 in June of 1979 (4 years ).
2 . I have passed Lieutenant Merchant Navy / Officer exam (diploma number 02-727) in 22nd June of 1981 in Harbour Master's Office Montenegro at Bar.
3 . I graduated Maritime University of Montenegro , Kotor from 01.09.1991 to 15.07.1993 on 15th of July in 1993 (2 years ,diploma number 590), and I became Engineer of maritime and nautical profession.
4 . In September of 1994 Harbour Master's Office Montenegro at Bar, I have graduated for Master.
My experience by rank at bulk cargo, general cargo , container , ferry and RO-RO vessels:
1 . I started navigation at Prekookeanska Plovidba in Bar, Montenegro at 28th of March in 1980 and I used to navigate for this company until 25th of March in 1996.
- 1 vessel as cadet in duration of 12 months - 2 vessels as 3rd Officer - 3 vessels as 2nd Officer - 4 vessels as Chief Officer
I used to sail at Bulk Carrier , General cargo vessels , Ferryboat , RO-RO and Container vessels, too.
- 3 times I sailed at Bulk Carrier transporting Wheat, Corn, Ground Soybeans, Coal, Iron ore, Bulk Sugar, Sugar, Flour, Milk in bags etc.
- 3 times I sailed at vessels for different kinds of general cargo (light and heavy cargo).
- 2 times I sailed at container cargo vessels of maximum capacity of 900 empty containers as Chief Officer.
- 1 time I sailed at Ferryboat.
- 1 time I sailed at Ro-Ro
- Total summary for this period: 10 vessels , 6 years, 8 months and 20 days of experience.
My experience at vessels for transport of liquids, crude oil and products:
- My first experience at tanker was 15th of July in 1998 as Ch. Officer on Obo Tanker .
- I navigated in total 26 tanker vessels! At 18 tanker vessels I sailed as Ch. Officer and 8 of them I sailed as Master.
I have huge experience at vessels capacity from 10,000 tons to 45,000 tons as well as vessels type Panamax, Aframax, Suezmax, ULCC.
1 . Also, I navigated CRUDE OIL TANKER, with which I transported Crude Oil and Hating Crude Oil.
- NON HEATING CRUDE OIL :
(Arab Medium, Arab Light, Arab Heavy, Arab Extra Light, R.E.B.C.O.(Baltic), Zakum Lower, Zakum Upper, Alba Condesate, Forozan Blend ) etc.
- HEATING CRUDE OIL :
(Nile Blend, Djeno, Merey heavy, Merey 16, Bachaquero, Duri, Altamira ) etc.
2 . I navigated PRODUCT TANKER, with which I transported different kind of Product Oil and Heating Product Oil.
- NON HEATING PRODUCT OIL :
Unleaded Gasoline, Gas Oil 0.5 PCT'S, Gas Oil, Gas Oil 0.2, Naphtha, Premium Unleaded Gasoline, Jet A-1, Jet A-1 Aforjos issue 24 (42.2°C), DPK, Clean Condesate, Mogas 91 IAD, Premium Unleaded Mogas, Ron 92 Gasoline, Ron 90 Gasoline, Jet Fuel, Regular RBOB, Premium PBOB, S.M.Gasoline, Kerosene, Blendstock gasoline, Gasoil 0.005% Sulphur , etc .
- Maksimum Four Grade (Condesate, Heavy Aromatics, Alkylate, Kerosene).
- HEATING PRODUCT OIL :
Fuel Oil, Fuel Oil 650 C.S.T., Fuel Oil 380 CST, Abadan Straight Run 280 ST F.O., Straight F.O., Residue F.O., Khafji F.O., HSFO / High Sulphur Fuel Oil, HFO, IFO-380, Fuel Oil Nr.6, L.S.W.R., HSVGO,LSFO, LSWR, Molasses, Vacuum Gas Oil, etc .
3 . NOXIOUS CARGO :
VEG OILS - Crude Soya Bean Oil, Refined Soya Oil, Crude Sun Flower Oil, Sun Flower Oil, Palm Oil, etc .
Molasses . Alcohols and Glycols: Methanol , Ethanol . Bitumen by MT Stream & MT Sidra Messaied .
- With mentioned tankers experience i washed C.O.T. (cargo oil tanks) many times in order for loading next cargo, partly or for tank entry,(Purging HC to below 2 % by volume,gas free,moping, inerting).
- also, three times I washed and prepared C.O.T. in order for Dry Dock. Singapore / Jurong, Malaysia / Pasir Gudang, Montenegro / Bijela.
Total period as Ch.Off. : 18 vessel , 7 years and 3 months 10 day of experience.
Total period as Master : 9 vessel , 5 years and 9 months 23 day of experience.
- Total summary : as Ch.Off. & Master 26 vessel , 13 years and 5 months 1 days of experience.
As Master and Ch. Officer I have a very good experience as follows:
- Centrifugal Steam C.O.P., Electric C.O.P., Framo pumps C.O.P. , Screw , Steam Turbine , Marflex ( electrical driven ) , Deepwell (cargo oil pumps).
- Framo pumps C.O.P. (cargo oil pumps) , experience three VSL , MT Arendal 4 Framo Packs 2 Electric , 2 motor .
- Cargo Oil Tanks preparation.
- Blending Cargo / Volumetric distribution by percent.
- Maintenance of the ship, Main Deck, Pump room, Accommodation, Safety equipment LSA, FFE, following PMS ( all greasing point must be good maintained greased , deck no one spot rust for e.g. My experience with one liter of paint, could be very good covered 4 square mtrs, on my way of maintenance, guaranty that for next 6 to 8 months on treated area will not appear no any sign of rust).
- Changes of cargo valves, set ring, actuators, testing cargo valves.
- Heating cargo , handling on Heating Coils Manifold Outlet , Inlet Valve , and stream trap , testing and repairng heating lines.
- Preparation vessel for Vetting inspection following VIQ office circular letters.
- Vetting Inspections experience BP, Shell, Vella, Shevron, Statoil, Conoco etc. Passed about twenty Vetting inspection , maximum observations 2 to 3 for Deck , Safety, Cargo operation , papers work.
- Piracy area, Red Sea / Bab el Mandeb passage, with MT Zaabeel performed 46 voyages and passed strait 92 times, with Yemen security armed guard and aborted two times piracy attack, one time of one fast boat, second time of three fast boat, used ships weapons for defense.
- STS operation at Singapore on MT Gulf Dove performed 17 STS delivery D.O. & L.O. without Pilot by using fenders only at inner anchorage to other anchored VSL .

- PILOT EXPERIENCE : I had completed the pilot course in dursation of 6 months . Due to my stay on the vessel , I was unable to attend exam and to pass same . Harbour Master request to repeat same course again 6 months . With which I not agre and refuse because I was sure that successful completed all the pilot course and recommendatio of all pilot participated by my training .
- DRY DOCK EXPERIENCE : Singapore Keppel Shipyard , Montenegro Bijela , Malaysia Pasir Gudang
- Foreign Crew Experience nationalities : Filipino, India, Croatia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Syria, Myanmar,
Egypt, Iran, Yemen, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greek .
